How to Host a Party at Satire Brewing Co (Without Getting Banned!)
Let’s be honest for a second: most event venues are soul-crushing boxes with beige drywall, fluorescent lighting, and lukewarm mystery catering. If you’re looking for a sterile conference room to present Q3 spreadsheets in complete silence, we love that for you—but you are in the wrong place.
At Satire Brewing Company, we do events differently. Whether you’re organizing a corporate retreat, an end-of-year retirement blowout, a high school reunion, or just trying to get 30 of your friends in one room without an argument breaking out, we’ve got over 9,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space designed for actual human connection.
Flexibility — No Rigid Numbers
Rather than locking you into rigid capacity limits that make your brain hurt, we look at what your event actually needs. Need an intimate gathering space for 20 people? Easy. Hosting a massive bash for up to 350 guests across our connected indoor rooms and outdoor spaces? We make that work, too.
Shared vs. Private Space: Want a completely secluded room for your crew? Book a private space. Just want a reserved zone where your group can mingle while soaking in the general taproom energy? Our shared space options give you a designated area without charging a room rental fee.
Custom Seating Options: Bringing the grandparents? We’ll set your group up with lower-profile, comfortable chairs. Hosting a high-energy corporate meet-and-greet? We’ll arrange tall bar stools built for circulating with a pint in hand.
The South Patio: Forget concrete slabs overlooking a parking lot. Our South Patio sits right alongside the Highline Canal Trail—a 20-mile path perfect for walking and dog-watching. It features string lights, potted plants, real greenery, and an actual peaceful vibe.
Scratch-Made Eats, Charcuterie Platters & Special Diets Most people try to order way too much food for their parties. We get it—you don't want guests going hungry! But our scratch-made comfort menu is heavy, filling, and packed with bacon, sausages, and fresh breads. It goes a long way, and we’ll actively stop you from overspending on food you won't finish.
If you want something fancy, ask us about our custom party platters made by Stacy. Leveraging her interior design background, she puts together stunning charcuterie boards, fruit arrangements, and veggie trays that look almost too good to eat. Plus, if you have vegans, vegetarians, or gluten-free folks in your group (and let's be real, every group of 50 has a few), we have plenty of delicious options so nobody feels left out.
The FAQ Ground Rules (Read These!) To keep the peace and make sure everyone has a good time, we keep a few firm rules in place:
The Music Rule: Want music for your private group? Bring your own portable speaker! You can play your playlist at a reasonable volume. Just keep the "F-bombs" at home—our open-air patio is a shared space, and we keep the vibe respectful.
The Kid Policy: We love well-behaved kids! What we don't love are small gremlins running wild playing hide-and-seek between stranger's tables while parents ignore them. We actively monitor our space so everyone can relax safely.
Glitter is Banned: Seriously. No glitter. If you bring glitter, we will be finding micro-plastics in our brew kettles in the year 2045. Leave it at home!
Stop by the taproom, order a cold brew, and let’s talk about setting up your next party.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance do I need to book my event?
As soon as you know you want to throw a party! While we are super flexible with space and can accommodate last-minute gatherings if room allows, booking early guarantees you get your preferred room and allows us time to coordinate custom food platters.
Is there a room rental fee?
It depends on what you choose. If you book a Shared Space, there is no rental fee—you get a dedicated, reserved area to mingle while enjoying the taproom vibe. If you want a fully Private Space closed off to other guests, reach out to us directly for details.
Can we bring in our own outside food or catering?
We ask that you chat with us first. Our kitchen serves a full menu of scratch-made comfort food (heavy on meats, cheeses, and breads), and Stacy prepares custom party platters. Because our food is super filling and affordable, most outside food isn't necessary—plus, we already offer vegan and gluten-free options so no one in your group goes hungry.
Are kids allowed at private events?
Yes! Well-behaved kids are always welcome. However, we do not allow kids to run wild, play hide-and-seek between stranger's tables, or act like untamed gremlins. We actively monitor our taproom so all guests can enjoy a safe, relaxing environment.
Why is glitter strictly banned?
Because glitter is the herpes of craft supplies. Once it’s in a brewery, it gets everywhere—including places near our brewing equipment. Bring glitter, and you’ll be on our naughty list forever. Leave the micro-plastics at home.
